As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, you will develop an integrated manufacturing system leveraging innovative manufacturing processes to design and manufacture advanced space propulsion systems. Partnering with manufacturing and facilities, you’ll own the process to capture the manufacturing and facility needs, leverages Lean techniques, and creates significant information for high-efficiency invention, evolution, and stable execution of advanced manufacturing processes. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you’ll identify requirements and execute on opportunities for data, tools, equipment, and workflow automation. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Requirements:

  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering degree.

  • From recent graduate to 1-2 years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.

  • Experience in assembly manufacturing environments.

  • 2+ years of factory flow and process modeling and simulations experience.

  • 2+ years of experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.

  • Strong analytic skills and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.

  • Exceptional with Excel, manual data analysis and other data mining tools (Python, R, SQL).
