HashiCorp Engineer II - Backend - Boundary Cloud in United States

In this role, you can expect to
Build, deploy and operate large scale cloud service catering 1000’s of customers.
Design and implement software using Go and Postgres.
Work closely with the product team to design innovative solutions solving customer problems in the Boundary product.
Build and operate highly availability & reliability cloud software with SLA meeting 4 9’s.
Leverage cutting edge cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Nomad, Consul etc.
Leverage observability tools like Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch etc.
Collaborate with like minded people on software design and development.
Collaborate with engineers from other HashiCorp teams to provide and receive guidance on best practices.
Be part of the weekly on-call rotation to support the Boundary cloud product.
You may be a good fit for this role, if:
You have 3-6 years of professional software development experience in cloud environments.
You have prior experience working on cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and similar cloud orchestration tools.
You may have worked in design and development of security software.
You may have some familiarity with Domain-driven design and microservice architectures.
You may have experience operating and troubleshooting distributed systems in the cloud.

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$151,300—$178,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:
$138,600—$163,100 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$126,100—$148,300 USD
