Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 120-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.

The Digital Content Strategist helps create and maintain a strong online presence for BlueOval SK both internally and externally. The role will assist in developing online marketing strategies and implement them using various digital platforms. Responsibilities will also include assisting as needed with web marketing content, blog articles, internal and external newsletters, multimedia content, and email campaigns. The ability to handle a high volume of programs in a fast-paced and creative environment is critical to the role. Success will be measured by an increase in company exposure and online traffic, utilization of branding and marketing opportunities on recruiting platforms, and a positive representation of the BlueOval SK brand on all online platforms.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Create engaging text, images, and video content for various online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, as well as recruitment channels such as LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, Handshake, Google, as well as other social media platforms and mediums such as email campaigns, mass texting, and mass mailing as necessary.

• Design content to sustain ’ an audience’s curiosity and develop interest in BlueOval SK’s culture and brand

• Shoot and edit high-quality video and photos to create compelling content for social and online platforms and presentations.

• Coordinate all SEO activities such as optimizing web content, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

• Create guidelines to optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.

• Use analytics to evaluate digital strategies and create reports with recommendations to increase reach and engagement.

• Measure web traffic and monitor SEO.

• Stay up-to-date with trends and changes in social and recruitment, SEO trends and search engine changes to ensure maximum effectiveness.

• Facilitate online conversations with candidates and respond to queries or escalate accordingly.

• Report on online reviews and feedback from the community and candidates.

• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and candidate engagement metrics.

• Understand business objectives, unique value proposition, message, and audience.

• Ensures digital content material is in compliance with copyright and data protection laws.

• Attends and participates in various community meetings and other forums by traveling to meetings and events accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Proven work experience (2+ years) in social media marketing and online content creation

• Bachelor’s degree minimum

• Expertise in multiple social media and other online communication platforms

• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, and other analytic tools

• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video hotography, videography, and editing experience preferred

• Graphic design experience a plus

• Experience writing quality content optimized for search

• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

• Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

• Excellent communication skills as well as multitasking and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a team-focused, deadline-driven environment

• Proven ability to align creative concepts with marketing strategies

• Articulate thinker, able to internalize creative direction and react quickly to it

• Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, organize and prioritize, and respond quickly to changes

• Knowledge and use of AI applications and other related tools preferred
