AON Compliance Specialist II in United States

Aon is looking for a Compliance Specialist II.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Specialist II supporting Aon Affinity with Aon Benefit Solutions. This position may be location in Oklahoma or Texas.

This position is responsible for the compliance function of the business, including maintaining- contracts, marketing materials, and data and will act as a liaison between the Client Delivery function and Aon Legal.

The Compliance Specialist has access to and regularly works with information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, strategic, and critical nature and the successful applicant must constantly display high levels of integrity.

What the day will look like:

  • Maintain contracts, marketing materials and related data and insurance licensing filings, working with our internal legal department

  • Reviewing client marketing material for compliance requirements

  • Assisting CEO with administrative duties

  • Liaison with Client Delivery and internal legal departments related to compliance functions

  • Communicate in person and through correspondence, including with high level contacts inside and outside the company such as senior leadership, customers, and vendors

  • Support leadership team and legal department in maintaining records and preparing filings for regulatory agencies

  • Maintain database information, such as contracts, mailing lists, and client information, in the internal shared drive for the department

  • Additional duties as assigned

    Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience. Legal secretarial or legal assistant experience or background is preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to private and confidential business matters

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to interface with all levels of personnel

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working with databases, such as MS SharePoint, and PDF conversion and manipulation functions, preferred

    Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $50,000 to $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
