Oracle Principal Product Manager in Uruguay

Job Description

As a member of the product development division, you will:

  • Define product specifications and or strategy.

  • Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications.

  • Communicate product strategy and functionality.

  • Initiate and foster relationships with other groups.

  • Review product documentation and collateral.

  • Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. You should be fully competent in your own area of expertise. You may have project lead role and/or supervise more junior team members.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7-10+ years of Product Management or consulting experience.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 7-10 years of related product management or consulting experience.

  • Finance/Accounting degree or experience strongly preferred.

  • Hands on experience with at least one Oracle EPM businesses process (e.g., Account Reconciliation, Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close) is preferred.

  • Hands on experience with NetSuite Suite Analytics / Saved Searches is preferred.

  • Creative problem solver who inspires innovation across the entire team.

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure in a high-visibility role.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

  • Agile scrum experience preferred.

  • Fluency in English required.

  • BS/BA required.

Responsibilities

Summary:

NetSuite is looking for a passionate, creative, and self-directed Product Manager to help drive and manage the ongoing development of the NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) business processes such as Account Reconciliation, Planning and Budgeting, and Financial Close Management and Consolidation. The responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, gathering requirements, managing feature backlogs, configuring, and demonstrating new features, and working with world-class teams to launch new features and functionalities.

Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will need a proven ability to build great business applications.

  • Deeply understand customers, how they work, and how they think. Passionately represent the voice of the customer to internal teams.

  • Proactively conceive, define, configure, demonstrate, and drive the creation of new features that customers love.

  • Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirement documents that clearly articulate desired product functionality.

  • Collaborate with the Development, User Experience, QA, and Tech Writing teams to create exceptional solutions to customer problems.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Training, Professional Services, and Support to create the content and tools needed to successfully sell, implement, and service your product.

  • Provide product backlog status and progress reports.

  • Interpret input from Development, QA, and Tech Writing teams to understand and articulate effort and potential results of product requests.

  • Clearly communicate estimated timelines, risks, and roadblocks to product managers and other stake holders.
