Emerson Project Administrator in Singapore

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Project Administrator role who is responsible for managing projects supporting project administration and documentation for Flow Controls in the Asia Pacific (AP) region.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Project Documentation Controller:

  • To manage complex document transactions, set up workflows to automate large volumes of document transactions in Documentation Management System.

  • Works through various functions and processes, this include maintaining files and using proper distribution and revision procedure.

  • Works closely with project teams to obtain preliminary and revised project documents. Prepare the documentation in customer format, manage and track the submission of documentation.

  • Perform data management, administrative support and quality check for accuracy on documentation submittal to customer.

  • To learn and master the Document Management System to keep track of all document deliverables throughout the project life cycle.

  • Review documentation job scope to determine the documentation requirements and coordinate with respective pipe team to ensure customer documentation requirements are met.

  • Prepare Final Documentation & coordinate submission.

Project Administration Support:

  • Assist Project Manager to plan and manage the execution of projects according to Project Management Office (PMO) processes to ensure proper coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities to guarantee budget, scope and timing of the project.

  • Ensure compliance to and fulfillment of project contractual technical specification, commercial terms and conditions.

  • Assist Project Manager to ensure achievement of project margin forecast for assigned projects.

  • Responsible for project status, performance and forecasting reporting to internal and external customers throughout the execution.

  • Review contract to determine the documentation requirements and coordinates with the respective team members to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

  • Work closely with internal project pipe teams to ensure timely and quality submission of vendors documentations.

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

  • Assist Project Manager to monitor and control projects from Award to Closure ensuring the project deliverables are met.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation/Control Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in PMO and documentation controller role.

  • Excellent knowledge in Engineering and Oil & Gas Industry.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to organize, develop and maintain efficient project management processes.

  • Mature, self-motivated and customer service oriented.

  • Excellent analytical skills and results oriented.

  • Knowledge on MS office tools (Excel, Word etc.)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Proficient in PC Skills including software like MS project is an added advantage.
