Job Title: Medical Affairs Intern - Rare Disease

As Medical Affairs Intern in our Rare Disease team, you’ll contribute to new medical and business strategies in Singapore.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead/support advisory board meeting to gather key insights to shape medical and business strategies

  • Development of disease/molecule-related materials for educational purposes

  • Support Annual Rare Disease Day initiatives through collaborations with cross functional teams

  • Gain knowledge on medical affairs-driven projects across Southeast Asia and India

Learning Outcomes

  • Direct hands-on experience to execute medical activities

  • Exposure to medical strategies

  • Good understanding on Rare Disease therapeutic area and product (s) knowledge

  • Cultivate teamwork mindset

  • Problem solving and decision making skills

  • Cultivate business acumen

Experiences/Competencies Required

  • Science/Life science/Pharmacy/Business majors

  • Eager to learn about medical affairs and pharmaceutical industry

  • Motivated individual with strong communication and execution skills

  • Well versed in Microsoft Office eg Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Fluent in English both written and speaking

  • Bonus: exposure to pharmaceutical/biotech/start-up environments
