Required Skills:

Business Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams and cross functional partners to meet business needs

2. Build and maintain scaled capabilities required to drive product adoption and spend growth across partners to meet business needs

3. Design, build & Integrate end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies

4. Use broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and consistently resolving complex technical and business needs under own initiative

5. Use in-depth subject-matter knowledge and product insight to deliver high-quality project/integration/partner engagements, while influencing product roadmap to meet the business needs

6. Guide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutions

7. Respond and maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal stakeholders

8. Build and manage working relationships with technical counterparts. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, creating high-growth atmosphere amongst team

9. Coding, code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code

10. Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics

11. Serve as a in-depth subject-matter person within Business Engineering and provide consultation on domain-level projects

12. Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members

13. Travel up to 20% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

14. Experienced software engineer building and shipping production quality code

15. Experience with open source languages such as PHP, Python, Android, Swift, Java, or JavaScript Frameworks

16. Experience with developing and shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans

17. Experience in designing & architecting end-to-end systems

18. Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences

19. Experience in building solutions to solve for problems at scale

20. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
