Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. This role will focus on providing product health support for all XDining upgrade initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive SQL experience along with a strong background in troubleshooting, patching, and repairing various server networks.

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Support Specialist to support remotely for all XDining upgrade initiatives. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do

  • SRE – Provide product health support remotely for all XDining upgrade initiatives

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex issues within server networks, ensuring minimal downtime and service interruption

  • Utilize extensive SQL knowledge to maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot database-related issues within the XDining platform

  • Take charge of network troubleshooting and patching activities to maintain a stable and secure environment

  • Oversee ticket management, providing efficient root cause analysis, documentation, and exceptional customer service for all applications managed by the department

  • Efficiently manage and resolve Help Desk tickets, acting as the first point of contact for customer issues

  • Communicate with customers through phone, email, and computer chat to understand their concerns and provide timely resolutions

  • Regularly deploy content updates for the ship's property management system, ensuring all information is current and accurate

  • Demonstrate exceptional flexibility and adaptability during times of change, effectively managing shifting priorities, demands, and timelines

  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive product documentation, keeping all stakeholders informed on system functionalities and updates

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role

  • Extensive experience with SQL, including database maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting

  • Proven track record of managing server networks, including troubleshooting, patching, and repairing activities

  • Strong experience in ticket management systems and providing top-notch customer service

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility

  • Familiarity with content deployment for property management systems

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
