About the Role

The Team: The Social Media Specialist will report to our Head of Social Media and join our Enterprise Marketing team at S&P Global. We support lead generation and client retention with a customer-first mentality as we create and distribute high quality, on-brand content, across all social media platforms.

Responsibilities and Impact:

The social media landscape changes every day, and it’s becoming an increasingly important channel with which to engage our customers and build our audience. This role provides the opportunity to shape how our brand will innovate, adapt, and deliver a best-in-class experience on some of our most publicly visible marketing channels.

  • Assist in the management and execution of organic social media campaigns for S&P Global

  • Curate content on social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WeChat) on a daily basis, meeting brand standards, marketing goals, and optimal user experience needs

  • Analyze social media marketing campaign performance, regularly reporting results and meaningful insights

  • Manage social listening by routing comments/feedback/sentiment to appropriate teams

  • Work with the social media team to meet all social media based KPIs for the company

  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and stay on top of digital and social media trends, providing market analysis and recommendations for adoption where appropriate

  • Ensure brand consistency for all content posted to company’s social media platforms

  • Work collaboratively with members of Enterprise Marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment with the team’s overall key focuses and projects

  • Support social media managers across the organization with policies and best practices

  • Enable colleagues on best practices for social media

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,289 to $91,872. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We're Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in Business to Business (B2B) social media marketing; including working on all the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube

  • Experience managing employee advocacy campaigns

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Acute attention to detail and quality assurance

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Experience managing employee advocacy campaigns

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)

  • Strong writing and communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of team and management

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred, not required

  • Experience with WeChat a plus

  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite preferred, not required

  • Experience with a social media management tool (i.e Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Oktopost etc)
