We are looking for an experienced professional to manage and optimize our Workday Adaptive Planning system. The individual will oversee the system’s daily operations, ensure its integration with key business systems, and collaborate with the finance team to enhance financial planning and analysis. This role requires expertise in system configuration, process improvements, and data management to support the organization’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Configuration:
Serve as the primary administrator for Adaptive, managing system configurations, security settings, and enhancements.
Work directly with internal stakeholders to implement changes and optimize Adaptive functionalities based on business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, ensuring smooth operation and performance.
Integration & Data Management:
Design, configure, and maintain integrations between Adaptive and other financial systems, including NetSuite.
Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Utilize scripting, SQL, and Python to automate workflows and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement solutions to improve data quality.
Process Improvement & Best Practices:
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial planning and analysis functions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in financial planning technology to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Provide recommendations to improve workflows, reporting capabilities, and overall system usability.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with finance, IT, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Participate in strategic planning and budgeting meetings, providing insights on system capabilities and potential enhancements.
Clearly communicate system updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting steps to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Adaptive System Administrator with expertise in system configuration and maintenance.
Strong experience integrating Adaptive with other financial systems, particularly NetSuite.
Technical proficiency in scripting, SQL, and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system and integration issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ETL tools and automation frameworks.
Background in finance, accounting, or IT-related fields.
Knowledge of additional financial software solutions and integration methodologies.
