Underbody Site STA engineer duties & Skills:

• Site STA responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for assigned supplier sites, accountable for site performance for new product launch and ongoing part quality.

• Provide technical support to aid in improving quality systems and lead all quality concern resolution for suppliers and Ford plant.

• Support to the supplier to be certified (ISO, IATF, Q1 ) for a better performance. Ensure all their documentation APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) / PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and review that they match as each other.

• Drive Supplier Process capacity actions execution, Capacity issues resolution, capability verification & risk mitigation working Supplier leadership teams.

• Drives engagement of Top Poor Performing Suppliers and Quality performance improvement.

• Drives Flawless launches globally, by ensuring external suppliers are robustly prepared to support new programs through effective deployment of APQP / PPAP disciplines.

• Escalates capability shortfalls and supports cross-functional mitigation activities.

• Be the single point of contact for Suppliers and other Ford´s skill teams

• Providing supporting to supply Chain team & Product development team ( PD)

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• Experience as Quality Eng. / Manufacturing Eng. / Costumer Service Eng / APQP

• Problem-solving knowledge

• Manufacturing Process Standards compliance and validation of implementation
