Ford Motor Company Hinges and Closures E&SS CI Buyer in Mexico

What you'll do...

  • Know the exterior Hinges and Closure commodity parts and understand cost drivers to deliver cost targets

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the Hinges and Closures Commodity Business Plan (CBP) strategy

  • Foster professional and healthy supplier partnerships

  • Lead, plan, develop, and implement supplier commercial negotiations

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams regionally and/or globally

  • Quote, negotiate and source suppliers for the purchase price of production parts, and tooling

  • Complete sourcing activities and recommend suppliers for new programs

  • Establish and implement sourcing strategy for exterior Hinges and Closures

  • Assist in the resolution of cost, quality, and delivery issues affecting the supply

  • Support GCT Buyers in both Service and Production and cross-functional partners to develop strategies and implement solutions

  • Identify and implement cost reductions

  • Negotiate cost avoidances for suppliers requesting cost increases
