Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

We require one junior onsite technical resource to participate with implementing our solutions to customer’s sites.

Whilst hired into the Oracle Financial Services Software business, a separate company and majority-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation in Athens, you will be required to work on customer sites within and outside Greece

Description

What You’ll Do - Be the vital piece of the puzzle that connects us to the millions of businesses that need our help to evolve.

  1. Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by oracle/customer within planned schedule. He/she must use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverable that meet quality expectations of oracle/client.

  2. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for oracle/customer.

  3. Coordinate with offshore team for various technical deliverables including customizations and support teams for patches, fixes.

  4. Adhere to defined Change Control Process of oracle/customer. Comply with oracle/customer audit/compliance requirements.

  5. Ensure quality code delivery.

  6. Perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.

  7. Timely status reporting to supervisor.

  8. Timely submission of timesheets for oracle/customers

Required Skills/Experience

What You’ll Bring

  1. Good knowledge of Banking Processes, Domain and Practices.

  2. Should have minimum 4-12 years of development experience in any Digital banking application (OBDx/Finacle/Temenos Infinity) – preferably Oracle Banking Digital Experience.

  3. Knowledge on Core Banking is a plus.

  4. Prior end to end project implementation experience is desirable

  5. Must have experience in Requirement gathering, Gap Analysis, writing Use Case Documents and Functional Specification Documents and Test plan and test case preparation.

  6. Perform configuration and parameterization independently

  7. Co-ordinate & collaborate with QA teams- SIT/UAT teams and provide necessary testing support

  8. Getting involved in analysis of incidents during UAT/SIT and identify root causes, document the feedback and communicate it accordingly for incident resolution

  9. Manage and execute functional testing

  10. Fluency in English + French

  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  12. Ability to work in a team environment

  13. Ready to travel for short or long term

  14. Strong interpersonal and client management skills
