Cardinal Health Senior Analyst, Ethics & Compliance in India

What Ethics & Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health

Ethics & Compliance promotes a culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance. This function implements strategies and processes to ensure adherence to policies, educates and trains employees across the organization, and conducts investigations to resolve ethics and compliance issues. Ethics & Compliance develops and implements strategies and standard operating procedures to promote adherence to internal ethics and compliance policies related to areas such as privacy, HIPAA and FCPA, among others. This job family resolves concerns from business unit leaders and employees and proactively provides guidance and trainings on policies.

About the role: The International Compliance Specialist will be a member of the Third-Party Intermediary CoE and Compliance Support function under the International Ethics and Compliance team, reporting directly to the Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) CoE and Compliance Support Supervisor.

She/ he will provide support and will work closely with the Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) CoE and Compliance Support Supervisor in executing the development and enhancement of the International Compliance Third-Party Intermediaries (TPI) program particularly in:

• maintaining, updating and ensuring quality of TPI data in the TPI management tool

• drafting, updating the relevant International Compliance Policies and Procedures and workflows

• creating and elaborating ad-hoc TPI report

• performing Due Diligence on the TPI and highlight any red flags or issues identified

• drafting the relevant training materials of applicable Compliance topics to create and maintain the awareness and knowledge among Cardinal Health employees on the Company’s compliance policies and procedures

• drafting Compliance communication materials to create and maintain awareness among Cardinal Health employees on the Company’s compliance requirements

• coordinating and/or performing, maintaining and updating compliance monitoring activities on TPIs management tool

• keeping records of data and documentation such as: policies, monitoring activities, communication delivered, training presentation developed, training delivered and list of attendees, contracts with the external TPI mgmt. vendor etc.

• performing data analysis required by the financial analytics program

• coordinate with the international Compliance Business Partners for tasks to be completed providing deadlines and instructions.

In addition, the role will also support in drafting SOP and developing tools on Transfer of Value with Customers and Healthcare Professionals monitoring and performs the related activities e.g.:

a. Fee for service to Healthcare Professionals

b. Commercial sponsorships

c. Grants and charitable contribution

d. Brand reminders to HCPs

e. Samples and Free of Charge

Lastly, this role will also provide ad hoc support in:

• creating, managing and keeping update the International Compliance intranet pages and/ or internet pages

• creating training decks, drafting SOPs and communications, conducting audit and investigations and other general compliance activities required by the International Compliance Department

• administrative tasks such as creating Purchase Orders or submitting invoices related to the TPI mgmt. tool

• Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers

• Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels

• Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years' work experience in a similar role and field.

Formal degree: Finance/business background

Experience in pharmaceutical and medical devices multinational companies are preferrable
