WSP USA Senior Project Manager, Digital in United Kingdom

Businesses are increasingly looking to utilise software solutions to collect data and track their Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environment, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) performance. Our Global business is experiencing unprecedented growth and we are looking to grow our team in EMEA. We are looking for ambitious, open-minded consultants to join our team, the ideal candidate will have experience of Project Management for software implementations, preferably with some experience of Digital EHS projects.

This will include:

  • Working on international projects in a growing industry.

  • Learning and applying a combination of Digital, EHS and ESG knowledge and skillsets.

  • Impacting how clients address their EHS and ESG business needs.

  • Remote working with international teams and clients.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to manage various project risks associated with scope, schedule and budget.

  • Lead project teams to execute projects to ensure that deliverables satisfy clients’ multiple needs.

  • Assemble, manage and use a project monitoring system to monitor and track project progress with respect to schedule and budget.

  • Utilize and follow various WSP project management policies and protocols as well as available financial tools and systems.

  • Develop and implement project support plans.

  • Manage projects with technical teams.

  • Leverage risk management and issue resolution techniques to reduce liability on project delivery.

CONSULTING

  • Support customer account team.

  • Provide the client feedback and identify their opportunities and challenges.

  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and the documentation of best practices.

  • Pursue project-based learning and expanding personal and interpersonal skills across diverse project teams with a commitment to team development.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Client engagement and development.

  • Identify potential opportunities and drive proposals through to completion with new and existing clients with support of additional Senior Technical Leads.

  • Using industry knowledge and experience, define cost estimates for rough order of magnitudes and proposals.

  • Support Digital Solutions’ Capture Management team.

  • Involvement with Technical Communities to support growth and global client initiatives.

  • Support large and growing Programs by fostering relationships and identifying continuous areas of improvement.

  • Attend and support preparation for conferences (internal and external).

  • Bachelor’s Degree with science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience.

  • An effective communicator with good presentation skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels of seniority.

  • Strong knowledge of Project Management Systems.

  • Strong understanding of the importance of health and safety in projects.

  • Superior project planning skills, detail conscious and result oriented.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Proficiency or basic familiarity of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent accreditation in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma).

  • Demonstrated proficiency configuring solutions with at least one major EHS software platform.

  • Past experience working with remote, global teams.

  • Bilingual (English and additional language).
