Purpose:

• Acts as interface between Solution Architect Community and Global Development Team for Capture & Content Services Technology Solutions.

• Provide Professional Service Estimates to Pre-Sales Teams as part of Xerox Revenue Pursuits

• Creates Low Level Workflow Design and Development Use Cases for Global Development Teams (Project Based)

Scope:

General:

• Recognized as an expert in own function

• Interprets internal or external business requirements and recommends solutions/best practices

• Decisions are guided by functional and non-functional requirements.

• EMEA project accountability; may include some Global scope

• Acts as Technical SME to Sales and Pre-Sales Teams

Primary Responsibilities:

May perform one or more of the following:

• Designs Workflow and Development Modules for Capture and Content Services Solutions

• Advises Development Team on best practises for workflow processing activities and tasks

• Supports adoption of new technologies or processes into Global Technology Standard Solutions

• Provides feedback and direction to Project Development Teams

• Provides feedback and input to R&D Product Development Teams

• Demo technology to internal and external teams

• Identifies service and cost improvements through adoption of technology

• Analyse and Test new technologies for adoption

• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Candidate Education:

Graduation in specialized field (Example: Bachelor of Engineering etc.) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Candidate Background:

  • Required: Proficiency and experience in analysing and understanding business requirements to deliver technology solutions

  • Required: Profesiency and experience in designing and developing Data Processing Workflow systems (such as ETL) for SMB and Enterprise level Production Systems.

  • Required: Understanding and experience in working on successful development projects using .NET languages (C# C++, C, and Java) and object orientated computing

  • Required: Understanding and experience working with Relational Databases and SQL Scripting (MS SQL Server)

  • Required: Proficiency and experience in working as part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Code Management & Release Tools (MS Azure DevOps, Github, Team Foundation Server)

  • Minimum: Shows a systematic, analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Minimum: Has good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealing with clients/users and suppliers. Excellent listening

  • skills.

  • Minimum: Above average verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Minimum: Above average proficiency using standard Office productivity applications pc-based analytical tools.

  • Minimum: Has a broad and moderately deep knowledge coupled with working knowledge of the activities of those

  • businesses and other organizations that use software systems.

  • Minimum: Takes initiative to keep own and skills up to date and to maintain awareness of and, in own area(s) of expertise.

  • Minimum: Technical knowledge and understanding of major technology areas, platforms, development processes and system lifecycles
