Oracle Netsuite ERP Technical Solution Architect in Australia

Job Description

As a recognised authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides high-quality, innovative solution leadership to an optimisation team. The role ensures high-quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

The Technical Solution Architect (TSA):

  • Analyses business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen.

  • Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.

  • Provides direction to ACS team, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.

  • Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.

  • Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

  • Has at least 8+ years of experience relevant to this position including 4+ years of technical consulting experience (ideally in a Big4 or large consulting firm).

  • Has an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Has product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.

  • Possesses the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Possesses the ability to build rapport with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to be self-directed, multi-task, and lead others with minimal supervision

  • Minimum of 8 years of technical consulting experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in hands-on technology and presenting concepts at various organizational levels

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Expertise in one or more of the following: performance, integrations, technical architecture, or software development

  • Experience in end-to-end business process flows

Required Hands-on Experience:

  • Performance and scalability of ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, NetSuite)

  • Orchestrating and executing load and performance testing

  • Tuning of SQL statements

  • ODBC / JDBC data extraction strategy , design and tuning

  • Data Modelling

  • SaaS/Cloud architectures

  • Oracle database architecture

  • Architecting and tuning integrations (with products like Oracle Data Integrator, Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, Workato or Snaplogic)

  • ETL tools and techniques

Desired Experience:

  • Software development life-cycles (SDLC)

  • Release management and/or Agile scrum master experience

  • Developing and optimising NetSuite SuiteScript, JavaScript.

  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer

  • Developing and optimising NetSuite SuiteTalk, SOAP integrations, or REST integrations

Responsibilities

As a trusted advisor, the Technical Solution Architect role provides technical architect consulting services, including:

  • Holistic technical design reviews

  • Performance and scalability

  • Optimisation of integrations and NetSuite customisations

  • Data management consultation and guidance

  • Consultative guidance on ERP leading practices

TSAs analyse customers' business and technical requirements to ensure the scalable use of NetSuite and work with partners to implement recommendations. They address technical feature gaps and devise appropriate solutions across the NetSuite ecosystem. TSAs lead customers and partners in using NetSuite environments, designing and optimising integrations and customisations, and successful data migrations. They are thought leaders within their expertise and work with the Product organization to ensure new product technical changes and capabilities are understood and adopted by customers and partners
