The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations and performance of the Club InterContinental.

  • Promote enrolment and administer loyalty programmes for hotel guests, including IHG One Rewards and InterContinental Ambassador.

  • Process guest arrival reports and special requests, responding appropriately or directing requests to relevant team members.

  • Review VIP reservations, ensuring handling of VIPs and loyalty guests, and oversee the administration of amenity orders and guest profiles.

  • Personally welcome and recognise VIP and loyalty guests, proactively managing relationships to ensure their satisfaction and continued patronage. Log special requests or preferences to guest profiles.

  • Maximise room occupancy at optimal rates and actively upsell hotel facilities to enhance revenue and profitability.

  • Train, manage, and inspire the Club InterContinental team to deliver exceptional service and achieve departmental and hotel targets.

  • Develop employee schedules to ensure coverage.

  • Ensure all staff are comprehensively trained on systems, security, cash handling procedures, and service standards, and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties efficiently.

  • Foster teamwork and quality service through consistent communication and coordination with other departments.

  • Schedule and conduct routine inspections of the Club InterContinental and public areas to ensure their appearance aligns with the high standards of the hotel, brand, and company. Assist in developing and implementing action plans to address deficiencies.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the working station and ensure all equipment is in good working order.

  • Remain aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.

  • Be knowledgeable about property safety, first aid, and fire and emergency procedures, and operate equipment safely and responsibly.

  • Take immediate action to rectify hazardous situations and inform supervisors of potential risks.

  • Document security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel policies.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree, higher education qualification, or equivalent in Hotel Management or Business Administration.

  • Minimum of one year's experience as a Club Lounge or Guest Experience Manager in a 5-star luxury hotel.

  • Experience in a resort is an added advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills.

  • Ability to lead a diverse team.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in other languages is preferred.
