Job Title: Mechanical Assembler// Warehouse worker : Pay :$20 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm; OT as needed
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. This role involves assembling parts using a variety of tools and equipment, ensuring all components meet specified standards. The position offers growth opportunities, including eventual promotion to Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Receive directions and tasks from Team Lead.
Review test, route, process, and pump load sheets in preparation for work.
Review Bill of Material (BOM).
Study and interpret assembly instructions and standard work instructions.
Verify specifications and ensure all parts are present.
Assemble tools and materials.
Position and align components for sub-assembly and assembly manually or using tools.
Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
Interpret measurements and adjust dimensions to fit specifications.
Set and verify parts clearances.
Troubleshoot test failures and perform necessary repairs.
Repair warranty pumps.
Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
Reject products that do not conform to specifications.
Complete quality control forms and tags.
Report errors in the product line.
Check stock to ensure inventory is replenished.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility specializing in vacuum pumps and systems. The facility employs 2600 people and offers a clean, safe working environment equipped with the latest tools and technologies. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a professional dress code.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
