Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial and residential customers.POSITION OVERVIEW:The Shop Technician is responsible for warehouse/yard organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows, as well as general equipment troubleshooting and repairs.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive and label material deliveries. Stage in appropriate areasMaintain the cleanliness of warehouse, yard and building groundsPick up parts and equipment from suppliers & deliver parts to jobs as necessaryMobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobsPerform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipmentAbility to drive truck and trailers to customer locationsPerforms additional duties and responsibilities to help facilitate company operationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and able to lift 50+ poundsPreferred QualificationsForklift experienceBasic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skillsGeneral mechanical abilitiesAuto maintenance mechanic experienceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentVerbal & written communication skillsAttention to detail and organization* REWARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE *Competitive Salary, commensurate with experienceCompany paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesWebsite link: https://www.gemechanical.com/applynowG.E.
