Job Title: Intern - Pricing and Accounting

Department/Location: Operations/Vienna, VA

Reports To: Operation Management

Overview:IBTCI is seeking an Intern to support theOperations. The ideal candidate will be assertive, work with a sense of urgency and display a strong work ethic. Flexibility is also key as this position may help support any of the pricing and accounting functions. Please note this is a part-time administrative position;28 hours per week in the office for 3 months.This position is based in our Vienna, VA office with telework as prescribed by the company (currently two days in the office). The ideal candidate will be available to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing budget and budget narrative.
  • Assist in processing expense reports.
  • Assist in analyzing solicitation guidance.
  • Assist in preparing solicitation representations and certifications.
  • Assist in collecting contractual and budget related information from subcontractors.
  • Format and organize cost proposal documents per the solicitation guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months work experience in high volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • At least 3 months of deltek costpoint experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Oral and written fluency in English required;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Education:At least 2 years of college education in International Affairs, Economics, Business, English or other related area.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Mastery of work processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Excellent writing, research and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Google Workspace.

Working Environment:Work is typically performed in an office environment. Currently the company is allowing for hybrid work in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. This can be updated by the company.

Physical Requirements:This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: International travel may be required and may include travel to fragile and/or conflict-prone zones.

Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.
