Description We are in the process of recruiting a Systems Engineer in Victoria, Texas. This role involves a wide range of duties centered around the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. The successful candidate will be involved in ensuring the smooth running of our IT infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, and security systems, as well as other IT-related systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, implement, and document IT systems such as LANs, WANs, and security systems.

• Design and upgrade IT systems, including Windows Server 2012/2022, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Administer and monitor our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft Azure services.

• Oversee Office 365 infrastructure, including Sharepoint Online, Exchange, OneDrive, Office, and Teams.

• Ensure adherence to enterprise-wide security policies.

• Analyze system logs to pinpoint and rectify potential issues within enterprise systems.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Python for system tasks, including deployments and monitoring.

• Manage file systems and storage, including retention policies and access rights.

• Install, configure, and administer enterprise-level software applications.

• Lead implementation, service, and support teams.

• Conduct feasibility studies and implement various projects, improvements, and conversions.

• Provide training and mentorship to engineering staff as needed.

• Collaborate with owners and stakeholders to maintain hardware and software standards. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineering role or similar

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies

• Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies

• Ability to work with DELL EMC Technologies

• Knowledge of Dell Technologies

• Experience in AB Testing

• Proficiency in Active Directory

• Strong skills in Automation

• Experience working with AWS Technologies

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies

• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting and PowerShell

• Knowledge of Intune

• Experience with Microsoft Defender

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure

• Experience in using Microsoft SCCM
