Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Job Description

Join a precision metal fabrication company that serves various industries, including Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, Architectural, US Postal Office, and Military. As a Brake Press Operator, you will set up and operate a Brake Press and Robotic Press, perform routine and preventative maintenance, and work off blueprints. You will also interpret data from CMM and manual measurements to make necessary adjustments to machining processes to ensure dimensional and visual compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Brake Press and Robotic Press.

• Use micrometers and calipers.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines.

• Work off blueprints.

• Interpret data from CMM and manual measurements and adjust machining processes accordingly.

• Lift up to 25 pounds; use a lift for anything around 50 pounds.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience running a Brake Press.

• Proficiency in micrometers and calipers.

• Experience in machine operation, press brake, fabrication, and punch press.

• Ability to set up and program machines.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and CMM data.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
