Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Check load sheet for first priority loading

2. Get quilted panels for truck selected and place on load cart.

3. Get gusset’s and place onto load cart.

4. Inspection and repair of quilted panels.

5. Sort panel border

6. Sort and Stage product for Matt build

7. Scan all lawtages

8. Activate machine and sew panels

9. As required; add thread, replace needles, oil machine, fix thread break

10. Observe stitching to detect defects and repair accordingly and check panels before and after sewing for flaws in materials and stitching.

11. Notify Production Supervisor when defects are caused by machine malfunction

12. Maintain cleanliness of work area

13. Place cart into finished goods holding area for department

14. Perform related duties as assigned.

Functional/Technical Competencies

Experience/Education

Ability to read, write and understand English

Basic Math skills are required

Production line experience helpful, but not required

Attention to detail is a must.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively in a safe manner

Able to perform continuous physical exertion including lifting, bending, loading.
