PeaceHealth Radiation Oncologist Per Diem in Vancouver, Washington

Description

Newly opened per diem Radiation Oncology opportunity with PeaceHealth in Southwest Washington.

PeaceHealth has Radiation Oncology teams based at Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington and St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington (45 minutes to the north). We seek a BC Radiation Oncologist to assist with occasional coverage of our collaborative teams.

  • Growing program with a focus on delivering regional cancer care with a standardization of treatment

  • CoC accredited cancer centers with on-site infusion centers

  • OCN certified nursing staff, nurse navigators, social workers, nutritionists, financial counselors and spiritual support personnel onsite

  • Active clinical trials & Tumor Boards

  • Epic EMR and Aria for Radiation Oncology planning and treatment

  • Part of a large multidisciplinary medical group with strong referral base.

Vancouver, WA:

  • 450-bed Level II trauma center and regional community referral center

  • 2 Radiation Oncologists, 4 Hematologist/Oncologists, 1 Nurse Practitioner

  • Varian True Beam linear accelerator, Pet CT Sim on-site. SRS, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT

Longview, WA:

  • 346-bed Level III trauma center

  • 1 Radiation Oncologist, 3 Hematologist/Oncologists, 1 Physician Assistant

  • New Varian True Beam linear accelerator and remodel in the design process. Pet CT Sim on-site. SRS, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT.

Position is paid at an hourly rate of $308.40 and includes medical malpractice coverage and tail coverage. Potential for Washington license and DEA reimbursement also.
