PeaceHealth Identity and Access Management Specialist - remote in Vancouver, Washington

Description

PeaceHealth is seeking an Identity and Access Management Specialist for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $33.89 – $50.85. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Participates in the evaluation and implementation of Identity and Access Management-related policies, procedures, standards, controls and technologies across PeaceHealth in collaboration with team members and caregivers from adjacent departments, such as Information Technology (IT), Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Communications and Operations. Contributes to the successful delivery of operational outcomes and administration of Identity and Access Management -related technology systems. Collects and organizes detailed information to support reporting and presentation requirements. Provides on-call after-hours support as assigned.

*Must currently reside in WA, OR, AK, TX, or willing to relocate by date of hire.

Details of the Position:

  • Participates in the design, engineering, implementation and operation of Identity and Access Management processes, policies, procedures, standards, systems and controls based on business and technical requirements.

  • Protects PeaceHealth’s information and information systems by analyzing public and private information sources.

  • Collaborates with information security, technology teams and business stakeholders to respond to and remediate identified vulnerabilities and gaps in security controls, policies, procedures and standards.

  • Performs work with standard identity and access management standards like SailPoint, Entra ID, SSO, SAML, auth0, SCIM and identity lifecycle management. Experience with Identity Access Governance (IAG) provisioning. Experience with Azure cloud security.

  • Assists and supports Identity and Access Management assessment activities in collaboration with technical and non-technical teams across the organization.

  • Participates in Identity and Access Management work groups, providing information for project management, scheduling, coordination, follow up, status reports and report outs. Effectively communicates, shares and escalates technical issues within the team.

  • Participates in security-related investigations and other Identity and Access Management requests across PeaceHealth.

  • Updates Identity and Access Management team documentation. Promotes Identity and Access Management education and awareness policies, procedures, standards and controls in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Contributes to the analysis, design, build and management of role-based access controls for users of applications and systems. Supports user access review processes.

  • Gathers information related to reports and metrics (e.g., system/control metrics, status updates, risk assessment reports, remediation reports) to support Identity and Access Management measurement and reporting objectives. Provides support and assistance to caregivers across the organization related to information security related technology and programs.

  • Provides on-call after-hours support on a rotational basis as assigned, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Computer Science or

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Healthcare Information Technology or relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Required: Experience in IT, identity and access management or a related field and

  • Minimum of 1 year Preferred: Experience in information security and/or identity and access management

  • Preferred: Healthcare operations background

Credentials

  • Preferred: One or more relevant information security-related certifications preferred. Examples include: CCSP, CISSP, HCISPP, GCLD, GSEC, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Epic Security Coordinator.

  • Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day assignments with limited supervision and guidance. (Required)

  • Ability to collect and analyze data to guide decision making while under potentially intense pressure to address security incidents. (Required)

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies and respond to their needs and collaborate effectively towards solutions. (Required)

  • Ability to work on matters of high sensitivity and confidentiality with both professionalism and discretion. (Required)

  • Awareness of common identity and access management tools, such as Microsoft Active Directory or Entra ID and SailPoint IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud. (Required)

  • Awareness of common Identity and Access Management methodologies, such as identity and access management, role-based access control, etc. (Required)

  • Awareness of user lifecycle management (e.g., joiners, movers, and leavers). (Required)

  • Awareness of cybersecurity, ethics and privacy principles, along with related regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF). (Required)

  • Awareness of government and other regulatory requirements as they pertain to access and user management (e.g., HIPAA and HITECH). (Required)

  • Experience and awareness of Microsoft Azure cloud and security services. (Required)

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
