About the Role:

As a CBRE Energy Analyst, you will assist in supporting the implementation of energy initiatives for a small to medium-sized site, region, or account.

This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You’ll Do:

•Identify cost savings opportunities and budgets for utilities. Assist with the coordination of energy procurement and energy-related projects on behalf of client accounts.

•Prepare monthly variance and energy service status reports. Monitor and report on energy use, bill gap reviews, and spending trends.

•Maintain, review, and evaluate utility bill data.

•Provide basic energy and sustainability-related input to preventative maintenance and engineering procedures.

•Help with the development of site energy profiles, site surveys, and energy plans. Gather and organize all support documentation as directed.

•Under supervision participate in site inspections, surveys, and reporting.

•Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

•Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

•Impact the quality of own work.

•Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

•Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need:

•Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

•Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

•Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

•In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

•Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

•Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for the Thermal Energy Manager Specialist position is between $70,000 annually and $75,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
