DUTIES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Trains on basic fabrication machinery.
- Demonstrates ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Learns to hook up loads for overhead cranes.
- Assists welders, machine operators, painters and crane operators. May at times perform some or all of the duties of these jobs.
- Possesses ability to solve basic math problems including the following: fractions, decimals, conversions and measuring.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Walks over and stoops under workhorses.
- Possesses ability to squat, stoop, bend and stand.
- Possesses ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Possesses ability to push and pull.
