Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including overhead cranes, furnaces, generators, and lighting circuits. You will also be responsible for swapping out and replacing 480 V, AC/DC motors, troubleshooting circuit breakers and transformers, and working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. The ability to interpret blueprints and schematics is essential.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including overhead cranes, furnaces, generators, and lighting circuits
Swap out and replace 480 V, AC/DC motors
Troubleshoot circuit breakers and transformers
Troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
Interpret blueprints and schematics
Essential Skills
Electrician with journeyman credentials
Experience with 480 V systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens
Experience with VFDs
5+ years of electrical experience or possession of a Journeyman Card
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience within the steel industry
Experience with overhead cranes
Experience in troubleshooting CNC equipment (nice-to-have)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $76918.40 - $76918.40/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Valparaiso,IN.
