Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking a versatile individual to fill a unique role that blends Accounts Payable functions with research into deal processing and lien checks. This split-task role is designed to meet the diverse needs of our organization, providing support in both financial and operational areas. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks, including Accounts Payable processing and conducting research to ensure compliance with lien regulations. This role is envisioned as a temporary-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:

Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Conduct research to verify the status of liens on machines received in trade-ins.

Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.

Assist with month-end closing procedures and other ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role preferred.

Strong understanding of business operations and financial processes.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Experience with research and data analysis preferred but not required.

Position Logistics:

Full-time position with a mix of part-time Accounts Payable needs and specialized research tasks.

Flexible schedule with varying responsibilities throughout the week.

Requirements • Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) role is required

• Proficiency in conducting Lien Searches and managing Liens

• Ability to perform Title Searches effectively

• Experience in dealing with Dealers is beneficial

• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
