Quad is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Valdosta, GA facility who will oversee a team in a 24/7 chemical processing operation. This position will report to the Production Manager. Quad's CR/T (Chemical, Research & Technology) division specializes in formulating and manufacturing EnviroTech inks using rosin-based resin polymers. Established in 1982, CR/T focuses on enhancing printing and coating applications with improved quality, consistency, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to plant processes focusing on safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards.

• Manage a team of manufacturing employees.

• Participate in safety programs and plant maintenance activities.

• Oversee production scheduling and ensure timely execution.

• Maintain clear communication with floor operators.

• Follow through on mixing and pumping operations.

• Utilize computer skills (Windows) for communication and documentation purposes.

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable and experienced in chemical and industrial manufacturing processes.

• Mechanical aptitude with familiarity with chemical plants and processes.

• Understanding of pumping and fluid transfer systems.

• General knowledge of mixing processes and step-wise process follow-ups.

• Familiarity with dry powders/flakes conveying applications.

• Knowledge of steam boilers, hot oil heaters, compressors, and cooling towers.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Able to work 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, and on-call as needed.

• The ability to lift to 50 pounds, stand, bend, twist, climb, and turn through the course of your shift.

• Some education in chemistry or engineering is preferred, but not required.
