Are you an Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility, ready for a change to an organization with a great culture that values its caregivers and other staff? The Pines at Utica, a 120-bed member of the National Health Care Associates family of facilities, is currently seeking a Director of Nursing to bring their knowledge, experience, and can-do attitude to lead our clinical department! Ours is a very reputable facility with a well-regarded Administrator and Organizational Clinical Resource Experts for you to partner with as you endeavor to improve clinical outcomes and grow your team.

The Director of Nursing assists with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by being responsible for the overall staffing, staff training and development, and management of personnel in the Nursing Department. The Director of Nursing also is responsible for the overall quality of care assessment, planning, documentation and provision of services to residents.

What You'll Do:

As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, setting goals and objectives aligned with our mission. You will foster excellence and innovation in nursing care. Your leadership will shape the culture of our facility and drive the advancement of healthcare practice.

The Director of Nursing Services has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and healthcare professionals

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance nursing practices

  • Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance

  • Set high standards to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care plans Ensure compliance to regulatory standards

Rate of Pay

Starting from USD $130,000.00/Yr.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Director of Nursing include:

  • Valid state nursing license

  • Advanced degree or certification preferred

  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery

  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both

  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills

  • Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
