Vertafore Sr. Strategic Account Executive in US, United States
$105,000 - $125,000 base + Commission $230k - $250k OTE
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking engaged, energetic and highly-motivated Sales Executives to join our Strategic Accounts team. Sales Executives are on the front-line of our strategy to grow and gain market-share in the Strategic account space. Sales Executives are responsible outreach and prospecting to new and potential customers of Vertafore products and services.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Execute the Vertafore Value Selling Process
Sell and win new logos and new business in a defined territory
Work with large, strategic customer accounts and organizations that do not yet own a Vertafore Agency Management system
Present complex, solution-selling techniques at the executive level
Make recommendations to customers that align business needs to technology solutions and services
Collaborate with Marketing & Product teams to execute campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity with proper closed-loop metric reporting
Regularly perform against individual monthly and/or weekly targets for calls made, opportunities generated and closed won business
Service and respond to Customer requests and needs
Collaborate with internal departments proactively to address Customer issues and needs
Chart and Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
Ensure CRM tools and Vertafore value-selling methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven success in professional sales within the Financial Services industry, preferably insurance
Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas
Ability to prospect large, strategic accounts and develop relationships with key decision-makers
Highly motivated, self-starter, highly organized, and demonstration of fearless determination
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong, meaningful client relationships
Qualifications:
5+ years of related software sales experience
Experience within a multi-dimensional operating environment is essential (i.e., not a mono-line, single market environment).
Understanding of Salesforce.com and other key sales technologies used for Business Development, Opportunity creation and activity tracking
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Additional Requirements and Details:
Travel required up to 75% of the time.
Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis
Located and working from an office location (when required)
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
Frequent sitting and/or standing.
