Accounting Intern

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Accounting Intern to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team in day-to-day tasks, with focus on Accounts Payable

• Data entry into ERP system (SAP ByDesign)

• Assistance with current accounting team-wide projects and individual projects

• Assist with ad hoc reporting requests as requested by broader accounting team

• Data Analysis

  Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program, having completed at least one year

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

• Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments or projects simultaneously to drive results

• Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing, with teammates and others to gather information and effectively present results and recommendations

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  Preferred Requirements

• Working towards Finance or Accounting degrees

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Familiarity with SAP ByDesign ERP platform

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Previous internship or relevant experience in accounting is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
