This position will play a leadership and strategist role in helping our GovCon clients architect cross-product solutions during the pre-sale engagement and to provide optimization post sales expertise. This will include initial discovery, participation in the demonstration, client planning sessions, driving client requirement discussions, creating and diagraming a solution, and presenting the solution vision and applicable alternatives to meet the client’s needs. This position will also be involved in the actual delivery of the solution in a Solution or Enterprise architect advisory capacity.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead assessment engagements with Deltek clients and prospects to uncover appropriate level as-is and to-be processes

  • Document those in Deltek professional deliverables and deliver the results to clients and the Deltek account team

  • Architect and document an Integrated ERP solution for our clients, which includes Deltek solutions, 3rd party and client homegrown solutions

  • Lead/facilitate client requirement discussions and provide the client with solution options

  • Work with Client Executives and stakeholders to drive software and services sales

  • Assist in implementing the desired solution with partner teams and the client

    Develop demonstrations, assist with demo database upkeep, presentations, white papers, and other materials as needed to support sales and marketing. Support marketing at trade shows, webinars, and training events. Work Location:US Herndon, VA, US RemoteQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or finance/cost accounting field

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of architecting software solutions

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with Deltek’s Costpoint ERP Solution

  • Experience with CAS, FAR, DFARS, GAAP, IFRS standards and regulations

  • Ability to conduct assessment of tool and process workshops, POC training sessions, and other customer interactive events

  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills

  • At least 5 years of public speaking experience

  • CPA and/or PMP credential preferred

  • Strong GovCon industry experience required

  • Other Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of software application architecture deployment strategies (N-Tier, SaaS, etc.)

  • Experience writing technical specifications for Product Development

This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
