    Position Summary:

    Provides outpatient psychotherapy to Carle patients in the area of Psychiatry and Psychology. Working in collaboration with the Psychiatrists, this position will treat existing patients with psychotherapy related to various mental health disorders.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Masters Related Field CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Illinois or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Two (2) years Healthcare/Medical: Psychotherapy. Previous experience in a broad range of ages with clinical professional counseling.

    Essential Functions:

  • Provide psychotherapy to patients and their families through individual and/or group settings.

  • Provide family counseling

  • Document and communicate assessment and treatment plants to the referring provider

  • Work with primary care staff in the treatment and management of shared patients
