Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, The TRACERcenter service modality based in Uppsala is the world's leading service provider for GE cyclotrons and GE Synthesizers. As a product specialist you will become an expert for installation, application training and service tasks at customer sites globally. Perform remote technical support, technical training to field engineers and customers around the globe. You will engage actively with field engineers and modality departments such as engineering, project and product management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Application/service training in the field, in our facility in Uppsala and remote.

  • Traveling for application training. IQOQ, PQ andservice missions.

  • Handle customer calls and support the regions for installation and service of our products.

  • Act as a link between service and other departments, share knowledge.

  • Document support Creating/reviewing PM, IQOQ, training documents and remote trainings.

  • To support Tracer Center lab activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master of Science as Chemistry engineer, Radiochemistry. Desired major: Organic or analytical chemistry

  • Ability to understand and follow mechanical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams

  • Excellent computer skills

  • High degree of quality awareness, excellent fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems

  • Team player, cooperative, ability to take over responsibilities

  • Fluent in English and preferably Swedish

  • High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure

  • EU work permit

  • Willing and able to travel, typical travel duration is 1-2 weeks (estimated 40- 80 days). Expectation is that travels will reduce slightly in the future with a more active remote support.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with FASTlab, Tracerlab, radio synthesizers.

  • service/ application experience
