Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in UPPER MARLBORO, Maryland. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, playing a key part in the development of our corporate strategy related to people and culture. You will align the HR department's initiatives with the strategic goals of our organization, ensuring efficient operations within the HR department.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement onboarding processes, bring efficiencies to new hire process

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

• Manage the recruitment and selection process

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

• Leverage knowledge and skills in ADP Workforce Now, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Onboarding to enhance HR functions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources (HR) management role

• BS/BA degree

• Experience in onboarding new hires, implementing new hire orientation process

• Strong understanding of Compliance with labor laws and employment standards

• Proven skills in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement

• Experience with Onboarding, including orientation and training of new employees

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
