JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Center for the Business of Sustainability within the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire a student intern for the 2024 to 2025 academic year (with intent to extend into subsequent academic years) for the position of Business Website Specialist. The position requires in-person attendance for meetings and events in addition to remote work on a flexible schedule for a total of 10 hours/week at a starting rate of $13/hour.

Th is position provides exposure to a broadly defined understanding of sustainability in business, including concepts as they relate to health, social equity, conservation, marketing and behavior, supply chain, and financial and social impact. This position provid e s the opportunity to work in a collaborative team of interns, faculty, and staff.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining , Editing, and adding content to the majorsustainability.smeal.psu.edu website, a resource for students and faculty that connects each Smeal majors with sustainability concepts (training on the platform will be provided)

  • Incorporate feedback from a faculty advisor and various stakeholders into the content for the website

  • Assis t ing with the development of an outreach plan

  • Assisting with the curation of promotional materials and promotion plan
