Job Summary:

Unity World Headquarters (UWH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the merger and acquisition (M&A) of Unity Worldwide Ministries. This 12-month temporary position will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of M&A project, ensuring seamless integration, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of the M&A project, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, HR, and operations, to ensure successful transaction execution.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for M&A activities.

  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment to support M&A decisions.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Identify and address potential challenges during the integration process to ensure business continuity.

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

  • Strong understanding of M&A processes, financial analysis, and legal considerations.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.

  • Experience in the nonprofit sector.

  • Familiarity with Unity’s mission and operations.

Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension based on organizational needs and project outcomes.
