Job Summary:
Unity World Headquarters (UWH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the merger and acquisition (M&A) of Unity Worldwide Ministries. This 12-month temporary position will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of M&A project, ensuring seamless integration, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of the M&A project, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, HR, and operations, to ensure successful transaction execution.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for M&A activities.
Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment to support M&A decisions.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Identify and address potential challenges during the integration process to ensure business continuity.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Strong understanding of M&A processes, financial analysis, and legal considerations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification.
Experience in the nonprofit sector.
Familiarity with Unity’s mission and operations.
Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension based on organizational needs and project outcomes.
