JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Food Service Assistant (Food Service Worker), you will be responsible for distributing prepared food from bulk containers to individual portions, cleaning food production equipment, storing food, and assisting with quantity food preparation. You will also transport food to and from the main kitchen to resident living units. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimally qualified applicants will have: The ability to work scheduled hours as needed, which may include weekends, holidays, early morning or early evenings, and overtime as needed Experience with basic sanitation, hand washing and safety standards in a food service environment. The ability to follow written and oral instructions and accept work assignment changes as needed. Well qualified applicants will have: The ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Experience with food service in an institutional setting.
