DWE Ag Equipment Operator in Ulen, Minnesota
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Ulen, MN. From: 09/01/2024 - 11/15/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. OVERTIME: In Minnesota only, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 10/09/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Assist with our crop production and hauling of the crops, Operating tractor, other farm equipment and complete general farm duties as assigned. Complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Haul harvested crop to storage locations and drive truck to help support planters and sprayers (water/fertilizer/mix chemical), Mowing ditches and keeping the farm in good running order. Extensive sitting, stooping and exposure to extreme temperatures. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer s discretion. All work related tools, supplies and equipment will be provided to worker at no cost. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
