Job Description
We are seeking two Manufacturing Technicians for a new production line. This role involves bench work for small part assembly of optical lenses, utilizing custom hand tools, and operating automated equipment. The work is highly repetitive and requires a high attention to detail and a steady hand.
Responsibilities
Perform bench work for small part assembly of optical lenses
Put kits together for assembly
Utilize custom hand tools for the assembly
Lift up to 30 lbs
Assemble lenses, purge, seal, and run optical tests
Package finished products
Operate automated equipment as new lens line is installed
Handle precise and delicate plastic sheets with gloves
Maintain high attention to detail and steady hand for repetitive tasks
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience with small part assembly
Experience reading work instructions
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Experience gathering parts for kitting and shipping
Experience in clean room/lab/bench work environment
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Microscope inspection and quality inspection skills
Blueprint reading and soldering skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electronics experience is a PLUS
Experience using a microscope
Experience in a clean room environment is a PLUS

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
