Machine Operator

Job Description

We are currently looking to bring on additional machine operators into our facility. This position will have extensive training, regular check-ins with your production manager to review manufacturing checklists, and exposure to the engineering team to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Work off of work orders, learning processes of each individual customer, and ensuring KPIs are met.

• Use micrometers and calipers to ensure the product meets quality standards.

• Perform minor preventive maintenance on machinery, including oiling of machines.

• Utilize a computer to track raw material usage.

• Inspect pieces for defective materials and any unusual conditions.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of mathematics, including using decimals, fractions, and measuring.

• Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously.

• Experience in manufacturing or a mechanically inclined position is preferred.

• Proficient in using a computer.

• Comfortable with machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to frequently move and lift up to 50lbs.

• Open-minded approach to learning new skills.

• Willingness to be trained on our machinery.

Work Environment

Our facility is well-lit and features newer machinery. There are seven departments, each handling different processes of production. We have a diverse culture, and while some areas of the facility can be louder, it is generally a pleasant work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.58 - $21.58/hr.
