General Atomics Business Systems Analyst IV in Tupelo, Mississippi

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst with good knowledge in SAP PP and PEO area and exposure to SAP QM to join the ITS Manufacturing and Quality Value Stream team in San Diego, CA. This position will report to the ITS Manufacturing and Quality Value Stream Manager.
The ITS Manufacturing and Quality Value Stream team is responsible to sustain and support as well execute numerous IT projects from its portfolio for the Manufacturing, Quality organizations using SAP and non-SAP applications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of GA’s ITS team, work with the value stream lead in building solution roadmaps and under limited supervision represent the manufacturing and Quality Value Stream
Quick learner with ability to learn and support new products in both SAP and Non-SAP are
Drive timely resolution of issues assigned through its entire lifecycle – Inception to Closure
Able to speak the business language and translate solution in their terms
Results oriented and confident in leading discussions
Work partly in a support/sustainment environment as well as project based environment
Learns GA’s project methodology and develops project plans accordingly
Adept with gathering business requirements, developing presentations and prototypes to illustrate solution options followed with detailed design, development, testing, implementation, and stabilization of end-to-end solutions
Meets project milestones and deadlines in a timely manner
A good team player with excellent communication and presentation skills who works collaboratively with various IT and business counterparts
A self-starter, has the ability to learn new technologies, bring new ideas and solutions to resolve the problem on hand

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and ten or more years of technical experience working with computerized financial, accounting, purchasing, payroll, human resources, manufacturing, or other business related systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Prefer 5+ years of hands-on experience with Production, Quality and execution, Materials Management, Batch Management, and Serial Number Management Modules in SAP in a complex business environment involving discrete manufacturing and procurement
Knowledge in understanding and developing SQL queries in non-SAP areas.
Exposure to S4 and emerging technologies such as PEO
Knowledgeable about touchpoints with procurement, quality, order execution, deliveries, and shipments
Highly knowledgeable about various SAP user exits and BADIs as it relates to sap PP and MM module.
An expert in writing complex functional specification and work closely with ABAP developers to develop complex custom solutions in ECC
Lead crucial conversations during blueprinting, design, and implementation with various business stakeholders and peers from other cross-functional teams
Excellent troubleshooting skills in a support and project based work environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well possess the ability to work independently
