Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a leading manufacturer of low-density film and protective flexible packaging, we have been serving the Western United States and Canada for over 25 years. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on all types of factory machinery, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems utilizing proper tools and equipment.
Install, adjust, disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders and valves, and other components.
Review and interpret work orders, tie-ins, technical manuals, machine operations, and communicate with production employees and management.
Develop maintenance procedures when documentation is not available and devise and make tools to facilitate work.
Use a computer to track, document equipment problems, submit/review, and close work orders, PMs, etc.
Perform regular preventative maintenance and work orders as part of daily activities and as assigned.
Willing to work overtime based on business requirements.

Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems on manufacturing or industrial equipment
Familiarity with basic rigging using chain falls, hoists, and slings
Use of common power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
Fabrication skills in steel for racks, carts, and other production support equipment
Experience with electrical systems including installing new circuits, running conduit, sizing, and pulling wire

Work Environment
Must be physically able to access all equipment and capable of working at heights up to 70 feet. The job requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and use measuring equipment such as dial calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and depth gauges. Excellent attendance and a positive attitude are essential. The work involves frequent stooping, bending, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, crouching, walking, and lifting, and may require crawling and twisting. Follow all plant safety rules, SQF, and HACCP requirements.Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes must be worn at all times.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
