Sturdy Savings Bank Senior Teller in Tuckahoe, New Jersey
Full time Senior Teller needed for Tuckahoe Office 35-40 hours per week. Salary is based on experience.
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of teller experience. This position requires a candidate with excellent customer service, communication, supervisory, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Familiarity with Fiserv Premier is a plus.<br><Br>
Under general supervision, while conforming to established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing a high quality of customer service in such activities as processing deposit and loan transactions, cashing checks, selling money orders, cross-selling bank services and maintaining account records. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Serves as a back up to the Head Teller and assists other tellers with balancing, resolving problems and other situations as required.
Education, Skills and Experience Required: * A high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of teller-related courses. * One to two years of job-related experience, including formal teller and new accounts training. * A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to represent the bank in a positive and professional manner. * The ability to operate an on-line teller terminal and other standard office equipment.
