The Opportunity

As a Grid Project Director, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Influence and assist with development of growth strategy for the West region as a key member of the account team for regional clients.

  • Lead Pacific Northwest based solution professionals to achieve growth strategy on a long term basis.

  • Development of client and alliance relationships and serve as key business adviser.

Please note: This role has substantial travel as needed to project and client sites. When not travelling, this opportunity will be hybrid working in the Tualatin Oregon Office. : 2 days per week remote, minimum 3 days per week in-office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Project Director for client's grid projects.

  • Lead project delivery teams to successful completion of project deliverables while maintaining high client satisfaction.

  • Provide leadership for the Tualatin, Oregon office professionals.

  • Plays an active role in development of others and serves as a mentor or coach to our grid professionals.

  • Project leadership tasks such as profit/loss responsibilities for projects to meet as-sold metrics, risk management through leadership of project reviews, timely semi-annual performance management documentation and feedback.

  • Business development responsibilities such as working with sales team to maintain and grow client relationships with electric utilities, meeting annual project business development targets for your clients, and participate in and co-lead contract negotiations for clients.

  • Exhibits the Company’s Values and inspires others to follow their example.

Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20 years experience working on complex grid projects

  • Established relationships with area utility clients

  • Proven record of success with development and execution of growth strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
