In this job, the team member will develop, implement and manage quality assurance systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Design, develop, implement, and manage quality assurance training program. Enforce standards and communicate/train employees on quality control processes/procedures. Design, implement and manage methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, standard operating procedures, documents, and reports. Regularly monitors and performs inspections of all facilities, locations, and grounds to ensure compliance. Regularly perform GMP inspections. Ensure compliance standards are met and maintained in accordance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) including, but not limited to writing and implementing each location s feed safety plans. Serve as the quality assurance representative and the resource to location managers/team members for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement. Participate in internal and external quality audits and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses. Interact with vendors to ensure quality of their products meet guidelines. Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with product quality or safety and assure that effective corrective action is implemented. Manage Veterinary Feed Directives program, communicate with vets and producers. Work with account managers and nutritionists to create, revise and maintain formulas based on customer requests and standards. Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
